Zhao Qiang's Overseas Public Announcement – Traveling to Pakistan

To strengthen and expand our business operations in Pakistan, it has been decided after careful consideration to send Zhao Qiang from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of our group, to Pakistan from March 6 to March 20, 2023, to discuss business opportunities. He is expected to stay abroad for 15 days.
Pakistan, as a key development hub for the tire and rubber industries in Central Asia, boasts a vast untapped market potential in this sector. This time, Zhao Qiang from the machinery company traveled to Pakistan to engage in business discussions with clients—first, to further expand the company’s presence in the region and strengthen its brand visibility in the global market; second, because in 2021, the company secured a contract worth over 10 million RMB with Pakistani customers, delivering nearly 100 units of rubber machinery equipment tailored for complete plant-package projects at tire factories. Currently, after installation is complete, the customer is awaiting the final stages of production setup, including equipment commissioning and technology transfer. Meanwhile, several rival competitors have already entered the bidding process for this project. Missing out on this critical opportunity could significantly hinder the company’s future business growth and strategic expansion in Pakistan. Therefore, it’s imperative that Zhao Qiang travels to Pakistan before the client’s March bidding deadline to finalize negotiations.
This visit also follows up on the rubber machinery equipment previously shipped by the company to the client back in 2021, which was delayed until early 2023 due to pandemic-related challenges. Additionally, the client has expressed plans to invest an additional $5 million to expand their existing tire factory, making it even more crucial for the company to promptly participate in the upcoming procurement phase of rubber machinery equipment for this ambitious project.
The expenses related to the delegation will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. and have already been included in the company's budget for official temporary overseas (or border-crossing) travel expenses this year, totaling approximately 88,404.8 yuan.
