Ni Jun Announces Overseas Trip – Heading to Indonesia

2023-04-03

To strengthen and expand our business operations in Indonesia, it has been decided after careful consideration to send Ni Jun from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of our group, to Indonesia on May 11, 2023, to discuss business opportunities. He is expected to stay abroad for approximately 25 days.
In 2018, our company signed a contract with an Indonesian customer to export Beijing Jingye’s molding machines. Delivery was scheduled for 2019, but during the 2020 pandemic, the equipment entered the commissioning phase. Unfortunately, the customer expressed significant dissatisfaction with Beijing Jingye’s commissioning results and withheld the final 5% payment owed under the 2018 contract. As a result, on October 13, 2022, our company decided to send a team, including engineers from Beijing, to the customer’s site in Indonesia, determined to do everything possible to retain their business relationship.
On October 27, 2022, the meeting concluded with the finalization of the "Shutdown Cause Analysis Report," which categorized shutdown reasons into three main types comprising 25 specific items. Type 1 shutdowns were caused by substandard raw materials, leading to equipment failures—10 of these issues were attributed to customer-related factors. Type 2 shutdowns stemmed from equipment instability, with all 10 associated faults traced back to the manufacturer. Type 3 shutdowns resulted from inefficient production planning and organization, with 5 of these incidents linked to customer-related issues. The meeting emphasized that both parties should address their respective challenges independently, aiming to achieve a breakthrough in daily production output of over 220 units by 2023.
On November 5, 2022, the customer made a request: Beijing factory must personally fund and dispatch a commissioning team to help resolve the "cause of equipment instability." Ultimately, the goal is to achieve a daily production output of 220 units. The commissioning team is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia on April 3. Our company will join forces with the General Manager of Beijing Jingye and travel together, aiming to reach Indonesia by late April or early May to discuss the outstanding payment related to the 2018 contract.
The expenses related to the delegation will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. and have already been included in the company's current-year budget for temporary official overseas (or border-crossing) travel expenses, totaling approximately 47,000 yuan.
