Li Weijie's Overseas Public Announcement – Departing for Zambia

2025-07-21

To strengthen and expand our business in the African market, after careful consideration, it has been decided to send Comrade Li Weijie from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of our group, to Zambia starting September 1, 2025, to discuss business opportunities. He will apply for a one-year multiple-entry visa to Zambia, allowing each stay to last up to 90 days.

Our company won the bid for the medical equipment supply project at Zambia's King's Hospital in October 2021. The project officially kicked off in 2023, and the equipment has already been gradually transported to the project site in Zambia. We anticipate starting the installation, commissioning, and other after-sales services by September.

This visit is dedicated to the installation, commissioning, and after-sales support of the medical equipment project at Zambia’s King’s Hospital. The project involves a wide scope of supply, with more than ten domestic factories contributing to it. As a result, dozens of engineers from these Chinese factories will travel to Zambia in phased batches throughout the installation process to provide on-site installation and debugging services. Given the extensive workload and prolonged timeline of this project, we are applying for multiple round-trip visas, each valid for 90 days.

The expenses related to the delegation members will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. These costs have already been included in the company’s current-year budget for temporary official overseas (or border-crossing) travel, with funding sourced from the company’s internal funds. The estimated cost per person is approximately RMB 134,345.
