Zhang Peng's Overseas Announcement – Departing for Uganda

2025-07-07

To strengthen and expand our business presence in the African market, after careful consideration, it has been decided to send Comrade Zhang Peng from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. to Uganda on August 12, 2025, to discuss business opportunities. He is expected to stay abroad for 365 days and will apply for a one-year multiple-entry visa to Uganda.

Our company has been exporting agricultural tools to Africa since the 1950s. The company’s three flagship trademarks—“Rooster,” “Diamond,” and “Swallow”—have been recognized as “Famous Trademarks of Tianjin City,” “Well-Known International Brands in Tianjin,” and “Key Export Brands Being Cultivated and Developed in Tianjin.” These renowned brands ensure strong sales of our agricultural products across the African continent, generating annual export revenues exceeding tens of millions of U.S. dollars and contributing significantly to our company’s robust economic performance. 1995 This year, in line with our strategic plan, our company has further established a subsidiary in Uganda—Tianjin Machinery Uganda Co., Ltd.—to launch warehouse-style operations locally.

This visit aims to expand our business into the East African market, conducting on-site assessments of our agricultural tool products’ sales performance and competitive landscape in the region. By meeting with local customers and engaging in face-to-face discussions, we’ll gather firsthand insights to develop tailored marketing strategies and product improvement initiatives. This will help us further strengthen and broaden the market share and sales volume of our agricultural tools across Africa. Additionally, we’ll fully leverage the role of our Uganda-based subsidiary as a strategic African foothold, capitalizing on its established presence to tap into neighboring countries’ agricultural tool markets—and ultimately inform the company’s broader sales strategy.

Due to the seasonal nature of Uganda's agricultural tool business, and considering overall costs, the resident staff member should commit to at least one year of full-time assignment. During this period, as arranged by the company, they will be required to return home periodically for performance reviews and to accompany clients on visits to supplier factories. In addition to daily operations, the employee will also make regular visits to all major clients of the Ugandan company, carefully listening to their feedback and suggestions. This hands-on approach will provide the company with invaluable insights, enabling us to enhance our service quality and refine product offerings effectively.

Expenses related to the visiting delegation will be covered by the inviting party.
