Sun Tiegang's Overseas Public Announcement – Traveling to Mozambique, Ethiopia, and Burundi
2025-05-05
To strengthen and expand our business operations in Africa, after careful consideration, we have decided to send our colleague Sun Tiegang to Mozambique, Ethiopia, and Burundi on June 24, 2025, to discuss business opportunities. He is expected to stay abroad for 13 days.
Our company has been exporting agricultural tools and machinery to Africa since the 1950s. The company’s three major trademarks—“Rooster,” “Diamond,” and “Swallow”—have been recognized as “Famous Trademarks of Tianjin City,” “Well-known International Brands of Tianjin,” and “Key Export Brands Cultivated and Developed by Tianjin City,” respectively. Products under these three brands enjoy strong sales across the African continent, generating annual export revenues exceeding tens of millions of U.S. dollars and contributing significantly to our company’s robust economic performance.
This visit to Mozambique aims to strengthen our company's ongoing operations in the region, solidify and expand our agricultural equipment business in the local market. During the trip, we’ll directly assess our customers’ sales performance as well as the competitive landscape. By engaging in face-to-face discussions with local clients, we’ll develop tailored marketing strategies and product-enhancement initiatives, further boosting the market share and sales volume of our agricultural tools in Mozambique.
This visit to Ethiopia will involve face-to-face communication and exchanges with our customers, enabling us to develop targeted marketing strategies and product improvement initiatives. Our goal is to strengthen the cooperative relationship between our company and Ethiopian clients, restore the sales volume and market share of agricultural equipment, gain a deeper understanding of the demand for machinery in the local market, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
This visit to Burundi aims to strengthen our company's regular operations in the region, solidify and expand our agricultural equipment business in the local market. During the trip, we will directly assess the sales performance of our customers as well as the competitive landscape. By meeting with local clients face-to-face, we’ll engage in open discussions, enabling us to develop tailored marketing strategies and product enhancement initiatives. Ultimately, this effort will help us further reinforce and broaden the reach of our agricultural tools, increasing both sales volume and market share in Burundi.
The expenses related to the delegation members will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. These costs have already been included in the company’s current-year budget for temporary official overseas (or border-crossing) travel, which is funded entirely from the company’s internal resources. The estimated cost per person is approximately 43,567 yuan.
