Nguyen Thanh Hoa's Overseas Public Announcement – Traveling to Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania

2024-11-25

The expenses related to the delegation members will be covered by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. These costs have already been included in the company’s current-year budget for official temporary overseas (or border-crossing) travel, with an estimated per-person expenditure of approximately 34,967 yuan. Our company conducted a five-working-day public announcement from November 25 to November 29, 2024, regarding the details of Comrade Ruan Qinghua’s mission group, which is traveling to Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania to carry out business negotiation tasks. The announcement was posted on the company’s internal intranet, and no objections were raised during the公示 period.

Our company has been exporting agricultural tools to Africa since the 1950s. The company’s three flagship trademarks—“Rooster,” “Diamond,” and “Swallow”—have been recognized as “Famous Trademarks of Tianjin City,” “Well-known International Brands of Tianjin,” and “Key Export Brands Prioritized for Cultivation and Development in Tianjin.” These three renowned brands have helped our agricultural tool products enjoy strong sales across the African continent, generating annual export revenues exceeding tens of millions of U.S. dollars and contributing significantly to our company’s robust economic performance. In 1995, in line with our strategic business plan, we took a further step by establishing a subsidiary in Uganda—Tianjin Machinery Uganda Company—which now operates locally under a warehouse-style business model.

This visit aims to expand our business into the East African market, conducting on-site assessments of our agricultural tool products’ sales performance and competitive landscape in these regions. By meeting with local customers face-to-face, we’ll gather firsthand insights to develop tailored marketing strategies and product improvement initiatives, further strengthening and increasing our market share for agricultural tools across Africa. Additionally, we addressed specific challenges faced by our Ugandan subsidiary during the visit, reorganizing their team structure to better leverage the company’s role as a key regional hub in Africa—enabling it to effectively serve neighboring markets. We also engaged with established customers in traditional markets such as Tanzania and Rwanda, gathering invaluable market intelligence that will inform our broader sales strategy. Meanwhile, by visiting Rwandan clients directly, we gained a deeper understanding of local competition dynamics and the reasons behind recent market declines, allowing us to collaborate with them on crafting innovative new sales approaches aimed at reclaiming and solidifying our existing market position. Visited our Tanzanian customer to gain insights into our product sales and market competition, and based on the current situation, developed the next steps in our sales strategy to further strengthen and expand our product market share.
