Cui Yang and Hou Jixiang Officially Depart for Overseas – Traveling to Thailand

To strengthen and expand our business operations in Thailand, after careful consideration, it has been decided to send Cui Yang and Hou Jixiang from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of our group, to Thailand on August 6, 2024, to discuss business opportunities. They are expected to stay in Thailand for five days.
PrimeSource Building Products Inc., a long-term customer of our company specializing in exporting steel nails to the U.S., has been partnering with us for an impressive 30 years. Their annual export volume has consistently approached $12 million, making them one of our most reliable and efficient clients.
To gain a deeper understanding of our U.S. client’s evolving procurement strategies and to strengthen our business relationship while exploring new opportunities in the U.S. steel nail market, we recently learned that the company transitioned last year from its previous monthly and quarterly procurement bidding model to an annual bidding process. As part of this shift, they now hold an annual Supplier Bidding Workshop ahead of their yearly quotes, enabling them to thoroughly assess both the global supply landscape and the capabilities of individual suppliers.
This time, we traveled to Thailand to attend the August workshop, where PrimeSource Building Products Inc. will distribute detailed requests for supplier information and officially release their 2025 procurement tender documents.
The expenses related to the delegation will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. These costs have already been included in the company's annual budget for temporary official overseas (or border-crossing) travel, which is funded entirely by internal corporate resources. The estimated cost per person is approximately 12,665 yuan.
