Ni Jun Announces Overseas Trip – Heading to Iran

2024-06-17

To strengthen and expand our business presence in Iran, after careful consideration, it has been decided to send Ni Jun from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of our group—to Iran on July 20, 2024, to discuss business opportunities. He is expected to stay abroad for 17 days.

Kurdistan Barez Tire Co., a tire manufacturer producing a diverse range of tires, including inner tubes, as well as tires for light and heavy vehicles and agricultural applications. Barez Group stands out as the sole manufacturer of truck and bus radial tires in Iran’s tire industry, supplying a significant portion of the transportation sector’s demand. Renowned for their exceptional quality and advanced technology, these tires are widely regarded as the best in Iran. In 2016, the group inaugurated its second factory in Kurdistan Province, which quickly became the country’s most fully equipped and cutting-edge tire manufacturing facility. Today, this state-of-the-art complex boasts an annual production capacity of 125,000 tons and is recognized as Iran’s largest tire plant, holding a commanding 46% share of the domestic market—earning it the title of leader in Iran’s tire industry and positioning it as one of the region’s most innovative tire manufacturers. This May, another meeting was held at KBTC to address challenges related to mixing equipment. Accompanied by this visit were technical exchanges and business discussions with several key companies, including Barez Tire’s Tehran headquarters, the Kurdistan Barez Tire Factory, the Kerman Barez Tire Factory, Yazd Tire’s Tehran office, Iran Tire, Gillan Rubber, and Avina—aimed at exploring potential collaboration opportunities. The trip also provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with longstanding clients, fostering deeper partnerships and strengthening existing relationships. Following the visits, a comprehensive summary of the Iranian journey was prepared, paving the way for continued communication and coordination with domestic facilities upon return home.

The expenses related to the delegation members will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. These costs have already been included in the company's current-year budget for temporary official overseas (or border-crossing) travel, which is funded entirely by internal corporate resources. The estimated cost per person is approximately 44,016.6 yuan.
