Zhao Liping and Li Zhixin Announced for Overseas Trip — Heading to Uganda

To strengthen and expand our business presence in the African market, after careful consideration, it has been decided to send Zhao Liping and Li Zhixin from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of our group—to Uganda on May 21, 2024, to discuss business opportunities. They are expected to stay abroad for six days.
Our company has been exporting agricultural tools to Africa since the 1950s. The company’s three flagship trademarks—“Rooster,” “Diamond,” and “Swallow”—have been recognized as “Famous Trademarks of Tianjin City,” “Well-known International Brands of Tianjin,” and “Key Export Brands Prioritized for Cultivation and Development in Tianjin.” These iconic brands ensure our agricultural tool products remain bestsellers across the African continent, generating annual export revenues exceeding tens of millions of U.S. dollars and contributing significantly to our company’s strong economic performance. In 1995, aligned with our strategic business plan, we took a further step by establishing a subsidiary in Uganda—the Tianjin Machinery Uganda Company—which now operates locally under a warehouse-style business model.
This visit involved conducting an audit of Tianjin Machinery Uganda Company and gaining insights into the sales performance of our agricultural tool products in the Ugandan market, as well as the company's daily operational activities.
The expenses related to the delegation members will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. These costs have already been included in the company’s current-year budget for temporary official overseas (or border-crossing) travel, which is funded entirely from the company’s internal resources. The estimated expense per person is approximately 21,873.6 yuan.
