Zhao Xiaoxin and Xue Tengfei Announced for Overseas Visits – Traveling to Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand

2024-03-11

To strengthen and expand our business operations in Southeast Asia, after careful consideration, it has been decided to send Zhao Xiaoxin and Xue Tengfei from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of our group, to Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand on April 21, 2024, to discuss business opportunities. They are expected to stay abroad for 10 days.

Our company signed an overseas maritime logistics project cooperation agreement with Singapore's STS Group on March 1, 2023. This officially marks the start of a comprehensive partnership between the two sides in the field of ship and barge equipment construction and export. Currently, the two floating cranes—FC1 and FC2—collaboratively developed by both parties have already arrived in West Africa’s Guinea and are now operational. Meanwhile, the floating cranes FC3 and FC4 completed customs clearance and were exported in early March 2024, and are currently en route to Conakry Port in Guinea. On this trip to Singapore, we will discuss matters related to the procurement of newly built floating cranes and their accompanying equipment for future projects.

With the increasing use of antimony in the new energy sector, antimony prices continue to rise. Given the favorable safety margin in importing antimony ore, our company plans to explore the antimony ore supply market in Thailand and engage in discussions with potential suppliers regarding antimony ore trading opportunities.
Meanwhile, we visited our long-standing customers in Indonesia's shipbuilding industry to gather insights into their latest shipbuilding requirements and discuss potential new orders. By engaging in face-to-face conversations with clients, we stay updated on industry trends and gain a clear understanding of their intentions and needs for new vessel construction.

The expenses related to the delegation members will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. These costs have already been included in the company's current-year budget for official temporary overseas (or border-crossing) travel, totaling approximately 55,136 yuan.

Details of the visiting delegation:

Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. General Manager (Head of Delegation)
