Cui Yang and Yang Liu Officially Depart for Myanmar

To ensure the smooth completion of the equipment operation and commissioning services at the Myanmar paper mill, it has been decided after careful consideration to send Cui Yang and Yang Liu from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of our group, to Myanmar on August 25, 2023, for business discussions. They are expected to stay in Myanmar for approximately 8 days.
Our company has signed the SSA MEC/TMG 230622 service contract with Myanmar MEC Company for commissioning and operational guidance of a 60-ton-per-day production line at the Dabang Newsprint Mill in Myanmar. The total contract value is USD 384,500, and we received an advance payment of USD 97,500 at the end of June. Additionally, the progress payment of USD 186,290 has already been remitted and is pending receipt, while the remaining final payment is expected to be made in mid-to-late August.
To monitor the project’s progress and urge our Myanmar client to complete the payment promptly, Comrade Cui Yang and Comrade Yang Liu from our company have specially applied for a business trip to Myanmar to visit the client.
Additionally, during the visit to Myanmar, we will also meet with private-sector business owners in Myanmar, discuss export opportunities for domestically produced power equipment with new clients, and explore potential new business ventures in the Myanmar region.
The expenses related to the delegation members will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. These costs have already been included in the company's current-year budget for official temporary overseas (or border-crossing) travel, totaling approximately 44,167 yuan.
