Hou Jixiang's Overseas Public Notice – Traveling to Myanmar

To ensure the smooth completion of the equipment operation and commissioning services at the Myanmar paper mill, it has been decided after careful consideration to send Hou Jixiang from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of our group, to Myanmar on August 7, 2023, to discuss business matters. He is expected to stay in Myanmar for approximately 40 days.
Our Myanmar Dabang 60-ton-per-day newsprint mill project completed equipment trial runs in 2017 and received the final acceptance report. By 2019, we had fully settled the outstanding balance for all equipment purchases. However, since then, the paper mill has remained non-operational due to several factors, including a severe shortage of natural gas supply and personnel changes within relevant government departments.
Recently, the Myanmar paper mill informed us that it will start up its equipment and begin production operations. They have expressed their hope that our company promptly dispatch an engineering and technical team to the site to provide guidance on equipment operation and commissioning. To ensure the smooth progress of the Myanmar paper mill project, Comrade Hou Jixiang from our company has specifically applied to travel to Myanmar to carry out the equipment commissioning tasks.
The expenses related to the delegation will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. and have already been included in the company's current-year budget for temporary official overseas (or border-crossing) travel expenses, totaling approximately 58,312 yuan.
