Hou Jixiang's Overseas Public Notice – Traveling to Myanmar

2025-02-17

To ensure the smooth completion of equipment operation and commissioning services at the Myanmar paper mill, after careful consideration, it has been decided to assign Hou Jixiang from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a company under our group, to travel multiple times to Myanmar over the next year to carry out paper mill service tasks. The first trip is scheduled for April 30, 2025, with each stay abroad expected to last approximately 10 days.

The Myanmar Dabang cultural paper mill project, with a daily production capacity of 50 tons, completed equipment testing in 2008 and received the final acceptance report. However, since then, the paper mill has remained non-operational due to several factors, including a local shortage of natural gas supply and personnel changes within relevant government departments.

Recently, the Myanmar paper mill informed us that it will soon start up its equipment and begin full-scale production operations. In response, they have requested our company to promptly arrange a team of engineering technicians to travel to the site, providing on-site assessments, debugging, and guidance for the equipment. Given that the paper mill has been operational for nearly 20 years, ongoing equipment inspections, maintenance, and adjustments will need to be carried out multiple times within the next year. To ensure the smooth execution of this project at the Myanmar paper mill, Comrade Hou Jixiang from our company has specifically applied to undertake frequent trips to Myanmar over the next year, tasked with conducting equipment evaluations, overseeing operations, and assisting with debugging efforts.

The expenses related to the delegation will be covered by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. These costs have already been included in the company's current-year budget for temporary official overseas (or border-crossing) travel, with an estimated expense of approximately 22,284 yuan per person.
