Zhao Qiang's Overseas Public Announcement – Traveling to Vietnam

To strengthen and expand our business operations in Vietnam, after careful consideration, it has been decided to send Zhao Qiang from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of our group, to Vietnam on August 1, 2022, to discuss business opportunities. He is expected to stay abroad for 21 days.
This year, Vietnam-based DANANG RUBBER JOINT STOCK COMPANY will officially launch a tender for a rubber refining project. The project involves extensive equipment and carries a budget exceeding tens of millions of USD. Our company has been in close communication with the client for the past three years, during which we’ve already completed substantial preparatory work. This month, the customer has already begun construction activities, creating an urgent need for our team—and representatives from our relevant factories—to travel to Vietnam promptly. There, we’ll conduct on-site inspections of the factory infrastructure, engage in technical discussions with the client, finalize layout plans and process designs, and assist the customer in preparing all the necessary technical documentation for the bidding process. Given the critical importance of this project and the tight timeline—especially as competitors with permanent staff already on-site in Vietnam have gained a head start—we’re counting on our project leader, Zhao Qiang, to swiftly assemble the technical teams from our Beijing and Dalian facilities. Together, they’ll embark on a comprehensive round of exchanges with key stakeholders at the Vietnamese client’s company, including leadership, the technical department, engineering team, and procurement division. This strategic collaboration will lay a solid foundation for securing the contract in the coming months.
The expenses related to the delegation will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. and have already been included in the company's current-year budget for official temporary overseas (or border-crossing) travel expenses, totaling approximately 29,229 yuan.
