Ni Jun's Overseas Public Announcement – Traveling to Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia

2022-06-23

To strengthen and expand our business operations in Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia, it has been decided—after careful consideration—that Ni Jun from Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of our group, will be dispatched to Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia on August 1, 2022, to discuss business opportunities. He is expected to stay abroad for 61 days.

This year, Vietnam-based customer DANANG RUBBER JOINT STOCK COMPANY will officially launch a tender for a state-of-the-art rubber refining project. The project involves extensive equipment requirements and carries a budget exceeding tens of millions of US dollars. Our company has been actively engaging with the client for the past three years, laying a solid groundwork throughout the initial stages. This month, the customer has already begun construction work on-site, creating an urgent need for our team—and representatives from relevant factories—to travel to Vietnam promptly. There, we’ll conduct a thorough on-site assessment of the factory’s infrastructure, facilitate technical discussions and exchanges with the client, finalize the layout and process design, and assist in preparing all the technical documentation required for the tender process. Given the critical importance of this project and the pressing timeline—especially as competitors with permanent staff already on the ground in Vietnam have gained early access to the client—we are counting on our project leader, Ni Jun, to swiftly lead the technical teams from our Beijing and Dalian facilities to Vietnam. This move will enable comprehensive, face-to-face communication with key Vietnamese stakeholders, including leadership, the technical department, engineering team, and procurement division—laying a robust foundation for securing the contract in the near future.

Discussing the upstream machinery and environmental protection businesses with our Thai client, KINGDOM CONSULTING (THAILAND) CO., LTD., marks a key new collaboration this year between our company and Beijing Wanxiang Xinyuan Technology Co., Ltd. This project not only serves as a crucial gateway for us to later tap into Thailand's rubber machinery market but also lays a solid foundation for developing innovative, high-tech, eco-friendly initiatives. Given the project's advanced technology and promising long-term market potential—where early movers tend to secure prime opportunities—we must act swiftly to seize this valuable market share before others do.

The Indonesian customer, PT. ELANGPERDANA TYRE INDUSTRY, has maintained a long-standing business relationship with our company. Due to the pandemic, we haven’t visited the client for an extended period. This time, however, the customer plans to undertake significant technical upgrades and renovations of their existing equipment, along with purchasing new molding and vulcanizing machines. Given the highly competitive nature of this project—several domestic and international trading companies and manufacturers are already in close communication with the client—it’s crucial that our company fully supports the customer’s transformation and upgrade efforts. At the same time, we aim to secure first-hand procurement insights from the client by delivering superior quality, competitive pricing, and exceptional service, ensuring we emerge as the top choice and ultimately win the order.

The expenses related to the visiting delegation will be borne by Tianjin Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. and have already been included in the company's current-year budget for temporary official overseas (or border-crossing) travel expenses, totaling approximately 111,715 yuan.
