IV. Purpose and Significance of Studying Abroad

Han Shuang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Northern International Group Co., Ltd., along with three executives from companies under the group, traveled to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for business purposes. This trip to Kazakhstan, First, we visited the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan and the Astana City Government; second, we attended a special promotion seminar focused on Astana City; and third, we paid visits to key enterprises in Astana, gaining deep insights into Kazakhstan’s actual demand and market prospects for electric vehicles, mechanical and electrical products, cross-border e-commerce retail, overseas warehousing for consumer goods, and imports of energy-related products or raw materials. Head to Uzbekistan, First, we visited the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan and the Tashkent City Government. Second, we attended a special promotion seminar focused on Tashkent City. Third, we paid visits to key enterprises in Tashkent City and thoroughly explored the market demand in Uzbekistan for canned and alcoholic products—specifically those related to the group’s flagship self-branded products, such as “Great Wall,” “Golden Star,” and “Yiju Yongji.” This effort aims to actively expand export business channels. At the same time, we delved into the feasibility and procedures of overseas project construction services, electric vehicles, agricultural machinery, and bilateral barter trade between China and Uzbekistan, striving to map out a clear path for establishing a robust economic and trade service mechanism along with an optimized resource allocation plan.

5. Expenses for Overseas (or Border) Travel

Relevant expenses for the official visit will be borne by each participating organization and have already been included in the company’s current-year budget allocated for temporary overseas (or border-crossing) business trips. The budget is part of the company’s overall funding, with total costs per person amounting to approximately 39,500 yuan [round-trip airfare subject to actual settlement prices].
